Last week end, we had a meet with 39 other furs. Yeas, at a point we were 38 and we never went over that number. But, there were 2 or 3 peoples that went back home early and 2 or 3 peoples who joined us later. So, my count of participation is 40!

What was the meet about? The point of this reunion of furs, was to have fun… that is it ! So, Here is what we did on that afternoon and evening. At 15 :30… Oh, you American guys! I meant at 3 :30 pm, we met at a metro station. We welcomed each other and discuss waiting for the other peoples who were late because of traffic, parking or subway train late. We were there until 4 :15 pm. Then, we walked a few hundred feet to the great restaurant : Lauberge du Dragon Rouge! In Montréal!
I did like this resto. It’s all about role play and have fun! The aubergiste, told us about the rules and let us in at about 4 :45 pm. Then, The fun began. The womens who made the service told us a little about the menu and makes us laugh a bit. Then, we ordered. I took the most expensive plate there and… it was expensive. But… not that expensive for what I had on the dish! We had… I should say Most of us had A lot of fun! I did have a lot of fun there!
Then began the sad part of this meet! I find it was sad, I did not have a lot of fun there but, It’s my own opinion and I will explain it.
First, when we went out of the restaurant, we had to meet again at another subway station. So, for those who did not know much Montréal, it was not really easy to go there in a car. We did not know where the station was and the road to go there was unknown… I would have printed some map if I were organizing this meet but… anyway. So, we finally found the place. Then we searched for a parking… into the Montréal circulation which was… pretty bad… Montréal drivers are really bad drivers! Then, We decided to go under le palais des congress parking. And that was for the driving.
Then, We were a bit late. But, we were not the latest! We did wait For about another hour there for the other to arrive, someone got lost going back to his car and took 30 minutes to change shoes. I had a friend who was feeling pretty bad, and I forgot to bring my cane! After a few time, We decided to begin to walk. For where? Nobody knows! In fact, one guy knew, but nobody else. We walked some time, in the wrong direction. Then, turned back toward the good direction. We walked to some place that was very expensive and the guy who wanted to go there was sad he did not know it was so expensive. But, some other guys there told me that they knew the price to get in this club! So… we walked again to a little pub. They made some place for us to be at ease and… We had the speech of our… how to call him… he is not a group chief, he is not a head or anything like that… he own the forum, he own the name of franco fur, but… I don’t know how to call him…

Anyway, Kimen told us of the goal for next year, he told us what was planned for the year and did some recommendation for us to stay safe and in good health. Then the meet was off…

What I found sad, it’s there was apparently no organization. That was really the only negative point of the meet. We had fun tho, we were able to talk to each other, I met some good peoples for the first time, I found that some big mouth was only big mouth and I found that I like to talk with furs!

90% of this meet was fun, but… not knowing the next step was… a bit of stress for me… I like things when they are square and organized! I am some kind of freak like that!
