Do you have any friend groups who are trustworthy? You could ask one of them if they would like a new living arrangement or if they know someone who would be a healthy choice. Otherwise, I think there is a little risk involved (but life is always risk I think).

Government housing assistance would probably be a little too slow. There are some organizations that might have some relatively low rent homes though that could get you through a rough patch if need be.
