Beware Discord QR codes!

You just don't see enough silver foxes nowadays
Hey guys, I just fell for a Discord QR code. They were clever.
One of my Discord groups was like "Hey we've moved to a new Discord server. Scan the code to move to the new server!"
I did and it got into my discord and sent messages.
I've since changed passwords and enabled more security and now I'm back.
If you were auto-unfriended+and blocked I have cleared that up so you can re add me back to Discord. My apologies.
No more QR codes for me.

I just fell victim to it. Got a message from a friend saying i sent stuff to a girl and they blocked me. Two of my friends got the same message but from me. It wiped everything on my account x.x

It didn't really wipe mine. It just moved a lot of my friends into the block list. So once I got thing under control, I had to unblock them and contact them in alternate ways to add them back.

i had that happen, i went through and deleted the dm it sent to everyone on my discord. mine was disguised as a bot protection for the server.
