House is making great progress! Update on my new house!

Oh right, I forgot that a lot of you folks don't know that I am kinda in the process of building a house, kind of.
You see, after the passing of my grandaunt a few years ago, my mother inherited the property with the house on it, that is right next to ours. The two houses litterially share a wall, so they are neck to neck, you could say.
After a year long battle with an architect that sued us (it is a really long story, but TLDR is, we wanted to enlarge this house to have a few small condos in it, to rent them out to tourists, while on the very top there would be two new floors, and also the house of my parents would get another new floor. Each of me and my two siblings would get their own apartment in that new large double house. But the architect did not deliver what we truly wanted, even making plans that would not have been legal for many things, because it exceeded many parameters, which would have required more security measures, etc. Yet she demanded the first big payment of her salary, which we refused, so she sued us, and two appraisers took her side, stating that sure the plans are not properly done yet, but they stil couuuuld be changed at a later date. So, there is that.) , we gotten in another architect, who is also an engineer, as far as I can recall atm, so we felt more safe that he would deliver what we wanted.
What we decided on now was that my sister would get the house in its entirety for her to live in, while I build an additional floor on top, with no changes done to the house of my parents.
And so far, with a few hickups, it goes really well. Only in the last week or so did we have a few more things that were more than just hickups. Too much to list here, and also too much now to translate properly. Let's just say, my dad and my sister, who are mostly overviewing the construction site, are both more than just a bit angry. Though nothing that cannot be resolved, it will just take a loooooooot of effort.
And yeah, I put my own share of effort into this house project too, like the floor where I will live, will have wooden panels all around it, and me and my family painted all of these things ourselves, to save on money. If we would have hired the company that provided the panels, to paint them, we would have had like surely 5K or 6K € to get that done. So we did it ourselves.
And now these panels are getting attached to the house, and also the first floor layer in my condo was being poured in a few days ago, next week the floor heating and final layers will be added as well.
If all goes well, and no major delays will come up, I might be a proper homeowner by the end of this year.
All fingers crossed for that!
