Amy Thomson announced that Chuck died today at 3:45. I believe she might have been there with him.
Those who left messages for him, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Cancer is a horrible way to go and the mercy of a few kind words as someone is fading is an immeasurable kindness.

FA+

Much love and healing vibes to you all.
RIP, Chuck.
-Badger-
RIP, Mr. Melville.
Also an account here on FA- https://www.furaffinity.net/user/cpam/
The comic was last updated this year, the FA account not nearly so recently, but still much to enjoy.
And with this, I slip back into a quasi-hiatus again. I apologize for that, but the truth is that my health has taken a bad turn this year and that is affecting my ability to turn pages out on a regular basis, so it's going to be hit and miss for a while now. Possibly a long while. I'll be posting as often as I can, but that may not be as often as we'd like.Little did anyone know then. Except, probably, Chuck himself.
Kinda bittersweet that his last FA journal is about helping Vicky Wyman, too.
He's another of the old guard whose work I wasn't aware of until now, but I can still enjoy his works despite knowing they won't continue.
Although ComicFury seems to be a large and stable platform, I've no idea what becomes of unmaintained accounts/comics.
I just did a search and found there are five comics of his on ComicFury!

Damn
Farewell, Chuck. You were a delight
Thanks for letting us know of the site so I could leave a note for him and those who knew him personally.
Chuck was a creator
He made us happy with his creativity
He was a good guy
and there are so few of them
We were lucky to have him
He was a grace in this troubled World of ours
Goodbye, friend, and thanks. Vaya con Dios, Chuck, vaya con Dios.
