And with this, I slip back into a quasi-hiatus again. I apologize for that, but the truth is that my health has taken a bad turn this year and that is affecting my ability to turn pages out on a regular basis, so it's going to be hit and miss for a while now. Possibly a long while. I'll be posting as often as I can, but that may not be as often as we'd like.Little did anyone know then. Except, probably, Chuck himself.

Kinda bittersweet that his last FA journal is about helping Vicky Wyman, too.
He's another of the old guard whose work I wasn't aware of until now, but I can still enjoy his works despite knowing they won't continue.

I think I'll start downloading his work to the laptop, build a PDF and store it on my server. All I have to do is find it a spot in my work queue...

Although ComicFury seems to be a large and stable platform, I've no idea what becomes of unmaintained accounts/comics.

Frustration builds with how many family, folks I know personally and folks who I know of by reputation and skill who have been taken by cancer in recent years.
Thanks for letting us know of the site so I could leave a note for him and those who knew him personally.

RIP Chuck. At least free from the pain now. And all my sympathies to his family and friends.

Aaahhh, dammit. Yeah, hardly anyone dances away from a hospice, but this is a blow. Chuck was a good guy.

I'm so sorry, Mel. I just lost a furry friend I only met at GSFC when he attended my Greymuzzle panel. when we met in April, Patrick Dan Davis didnt even know he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer, until a few days before BLFC and had to cancel. I found out shortly after BLFC, when I noticed Dan wasnt in Reno. From after his pallative surgery at UCI when we reconnected, I spent his last weeks with him, got to know him and he died on the day i came to his house near Victorville, CA on Aug 27th. If you seen my Facebook, you know. As youre reeling from Chuck, and I wished I had known him, Dan taught me a lot about the importance of life in the short time I knew him. My condolences Mama Mel. Joe
