Fast Recovery ^^
3 years ago
I'm recovering way faster than I expected. I got family members that who had more than 3 days of strong symptoms and took more than 1 week to have a full recovery.
Right now my throat doesn't hurt, but it is still sensitive making me cough more than usual, and making me prefer to not talk or do exercise.
I don't feel fatigue anymore and yesterday fever was gone, so I can go back to drawing :3 <3 (Still will take it easy just in case)
Also I feel that I have to mention this: in my first journal when I got Covid, I got some conspiranoic antivaxxer laughing at me and taking advantage of my illness to spread misinformation in comments, journals, and wouldn't be surprised if they did in notes, under the excuse that "they care about my well being", they even recommended contraindicated drugs X__X. And just because of the fact that I got 4 shots and still got infected.
Vaccines don't protect you at 100% from an illness, you can still get infected but with a lower chance, the recovery will be way faster and the symptoms won't be too strong to send you to the hospital.
As I said before, I'm asthmatic, and also have other conditions that lowers my defenses, I have had respiratory illnesses that sent me to the hospital before, and of course it is not a pleasing experience at all (It's kind of traumatic tbh).
If you have the chance to get vaccinated, feel free to do it, you can ask a doctor first if you aren't sure about it.
If you get infected, remember to drink lots and lots of water (not soda) and drink the recommended medicaments by doctors to ease the symptoms.
(Even if you don't get infected, drink lots of water, it's good for you :3)

Glad your feeling better!
And you can just ignore the antivaxxer moron. Most aren't worth talking to in the first place.
As far as going to the hospital and having those type of respiratory illnesses, I don't see a problem with you getting a vaccine. It does work for people to an extent, but how long it lasts, etc is up for grabs. Some people it lasts longer, others it doesn't. Some are perfectly fine without it while others depending on factors may need it.
Good to know you are doing better, hope you recover fully soon
Phlegms are being annoying rn, I'm hoping they don't persist in that quantity for so long.
May I ask which was the worst symptom you had during the hardest days?
Daytime it was generally the muscle and joint aches that were annoying + the comeback of rheumatoid pains that I stopped having for over 20 years.
Continue to monitor the sore throat and cough, drink plenty of warm water, and avoid irritating it by talking too long.
please take care of yourself even after recovery, rna viruses are extremely annoying for a good reason
I do want to mention about this person that I think you're referring to. I know this person and actually saw what he posted. Somehow it didn't seem to involve laughing at you, though he did seem to escalate from your initial response. I think there might be a disconnect though, since there are a number of people gathering information showing contradiction with the vaccines, even coming from sources like the CDC. I'm not sure how it could be presented better to make it seem valid and not considered "spread misinformation", but you did raise a concern about having asthma which is a different perspective than most people.
I had a former friend that passed away from an untreated asthma attack (Paupe), so I guess it can stand to reason that a person would feel overly cautious in their own way to get vaccinated. Paupe didn't get COVID though, but it's still tragic...=/
Anyway, I've actually heard that the official sources initially said the vaccines would prevent the virus, but then they changed it to "you can still get infected but you recover better." I can't say much from experience, other than my mate being unvaccinated and that he recovered naturally within 2 weeks. I think other people experienced something similar too.
Honestly for a large majority of circumstances, the bodily response to COVID is quite optimistic. I'm open to not feel the need to get vaccinated, but I'm also understanding if people still feel they need to. I believe people are allowed to make their own decisions on this, as long as they respect others for theirs.
And yes, don't worry. I'm keeping myself as healthy as can be and I seem to be doing quite well myself. x3;
Anyways, I'm not the kind of person that will yell or mock someone for not getting vaccinated, to each their own there. But I trust the professionals in the health area who recommend the use of those vaccines.
Also I'm sorry for your friend :c.
Oh well, yeah. I try to maintain my composure with the topic. I'm glad the pandemic stuff has greatly winded down. I certainly like to focus on other stuff these days and it's nice it's not a first world crisis like it was shown a year or two ago.
Yeah...I was taken aback from what happened to Paupe...but I'm sure now he wouldn't want us to worry too much about him. Paupe did a lot for the community and we can do the same, carry the torch if you would.
Oh, and thanks for your responses btw. Here's hoping for great wellness in your future! :3

The comment and journal were deleted by administration due to spread of misinformation along with unreliable sources. That's why you can't find it.
Sorry if I'm causing any trouble though. I figured you didn't have to explain much more of this, but I appreciate you telling me anyway.
I can definitely see why this would bother you, especially when sick and you don't know what else you can do. ^.^;;
But oh well, I think we can move ahead from all this now. Thanks again for the explanation!
