It's okay for the most part.

Its called being teritorial of ones freedom or "Jealous". I delt with it when I was in past relationships with my ex's. If it happens again, dont hang with them.

But yeah, it's kinda like what said. The guy is likely a jealous type, intimidated, and spiteful. Shows to tell the guy hasn't grown up yet in his life, or ever will. ^^ That sort of behavior is below average and yes, I'd be dumbstruck too. Your probably still new to this thing and haven't dealt with negative people as much, your too kind and forgiving, but eventually you'll learn how to deal with these things better in the future. =) Your too good for that stuff.
