Discord had a bug in a recent update that caused the Windows client to send hundreds of requests per second after changing your profile, which would result in your account being flagged for spam. It's apparently fixed now, though: https://discordstatus.com/incidents/lyzchywwtp6p

Fair point, I just got a burning hatred for peados and the sites that are set up in a way that lets the producers remain anonymous while distributing for profit. especially because that stuff spreading just makes the people receiving it worse and they may end up, as they often do, trying to meet with real victims over other sites that do a shit job of age checking their users.
It's not like they have to go on the dark web for it anymore, that shit is out there and open and easy to access with anonymity and no technical know how giving a wider platform for abusers to make profit as the market is so much larger and easy to access

Always feel the company's hosting could find a way to solve it if they put enough money into it, but like with homelessness it's not going away because the people in charge don't really give a fuck if it's not damaging their position or getting them arrested
Look how fucking long it took teamviewer and other sites to give scam warnings, they like others don't give a shit until the PR gets bad enough that they need to do something until the PR goes away
Sure you can say you just move the people to another platform, but it's like cutting down a weed, it takes time to grow back, and with these people theres no killing the roots, we just have to keep making it harder to sell/buy/find and easier to catch them

This has happened to me twice.
It's usually a result of putting your telegram info out in the open. Simply using their automated system to appeal fixes it usually in a couple hours at most.

Make sure you reach out to Telegram's support. They'll fix it pretty quickly.

Ha If they had support, all you get direct with is bots. No help at all as this happened once.

VK is what the rusgov have a lot of influence over. Telegram unrelated to VK except for the founders.
