Does anyone have experience ordering comics? I have a few short story ideas I would love to see illustrated. Some more fleshed out than others. I would love to see them illustrated for a price that doesn't break the bank. Lot of artists struggle to do mass produced drawings and charging 10 panels like they're each separate commissions is prohibitive.

Then there's the directing. Some of my ideas are more fleshed out than others. Do some artists work good with vague plot points or is it better to specify the contents of each panel?

I kind of have this problem with illustration commissions too. I can see an amazing piece and it's hard to tell if the composition idea was the artist's or the commissioner's.
