Another month come and gone, and here we are still. I've nothing really much to say for personal developments this last month; it's been rather chill, just the way I like it. I know there's some un-fun but important stuff I want to keep up with coming in this month though, which I hope ultimately turns into good news, but we'll see.
So, how did this last month go for me? As I expected, I got two uploads finished. First, the first part of the series I'm writing in second person instead of third person, "Sweet Benefits." It didn't do amazingly well, but it still did decent, and writing in second person was easier than I thought it would be. I'm looking forward to continuing that, though that certainly won't be this month... Probably not even next month either.
The second upload for this month was the first of the (Un)Fair Wager prequel stories I plan to write, "The first old wager." For a prequel story that acts as effectively the eighth part of the series, I think it did pretty good. It was really satisfying to see that people were still invested to see more parts of that story being told. Also, on a related note to it, I know I said I was only planning one other prequel before, but I've actually thought of one more that I think will be good as well, so there's now plans for three prequel parts.
How do I expect this coming month to go? Well unfortunately, I had a stall after the second upload this month; I wanted to dedicate some time to working on a thing unrelated to FA. I thought it would only take a couple days maybe, but instead it took about a week. So I don't have as much of a head start on my next upload as I could have; in fact, I haven't really started on it at all, aside from brainstorming it. Still, I hope and I think that maybe I can still get two uploads done this coming month. My next story up will be a requested story, and I think it will be a bit on the short side for my uploads, as it's an idea I'm not sure on how to expand upon all that much, nor do I feel terribly inclined to. After that, I intend to do the next (Un)Fair Wager prequel, which might be a bit long. So, I wouldn't be surprised if I only get one upload done this month; I'm quite certain I probably won't get more than 2 done this month.
This journal entry feels more on the simpler side to me, compared to my other ones, but that's just fine. This last month was kind of a simple month, for me anyway. As always, I hope you all have a good coming month. =)
