Hooray, got a brand-new Samsung phone from my family for my Bday.
Buuuuuuuuut, my old phone is a Huawei P40 Lite, that specific model by Huawei which is heavily under sanctions (it got sanctioned like a month after I got it).
So, I wanted to transfer the data I had on the old phone to the new one. First tried to do it via a program on my PC, did not work (it wanted money for each pic I transfered) , tried Samsung Switch, it did not work wirelessly for some reason. Tried it with a cable, for which I got an adapter for.
Was denied again, because the adapter is not a Samsung product.
So, I am now waiting for that Samsung adapter to come in from Amazon. In the meantime I transfered my whatsapp folder from the old phone to my PC and right now transfereing it from my PC to my new phone, which will take a few hours. I tried to use a Micro-SD card before, but...I only realized then that my hold Huawei phone only take nano SD cards by Huawei!
But even that won't meant that I can use Whatsapp immediately on the new phone, because I initialized it so often on both phones now, I need to wait 40 hours until I can get a confirmation SMS again.
So yeah, I am curretnly a biiiiiiiiiit frustrated with technology atm.

Normally copying files/photos 'n such is just a matter of drag and drop, no special software needed.
