Nah, it's generally a test to see how much faves and watchers can I get only drawing dogs. I just haven't bothered to be very active there lately.

I think that people find me more approachable in my other account because perhaps I seem more 'laid-back'... and I actually have sort of a avatar/'fursona' there so perhaps people can maybe relate to that?

I take it as a challenge to design those things and dogs are pretty easy so I'm not at least suffering. Only part that's problematic is trying to keep my happy face on all the time and make happy small talk with people, which is part of the experiment. I had to create a false personality for being so polite.

Could be, people do seem to put some notice on avatars and that sort of stuff, and posting sketches and doodles takes away from the "unreachable artist" thing too which might make people more familiar.

Ahh... Yeah. I guess I just don't get the dog thing. I used to actually draw what would be considered 'Sparkle Dogs' when I was 12 or something. XD Kinda funny now that I think about it. Though I don't think I could make an account and draw something that I might not like. I actually enjoy what I draw on my other account. XD

And yeah, that's a totally good point about the sketches and doodles.

I don't really get it either, I mean their popularity with people who are way over 20 and everyone. And it's kinda sad to see that a random dog doodle can have 80 faves in DA when there's lots of actually good art unnoticed. Which is why I'm doing this dogxperiment anyway. (have to look out or I start to rant about dogs here)
But yeah, at least it's voluntary dislike drawings to me (since dogs, at least the kinds that are popular are more boring to be honest) that I can do only when I feel like it, like as warmups, unlike all the other stuffs I have to draw at my job :D

The sketches and doodles thing is probably the main reason why I feel more close to people in LJ, when even the really good artists that I look/looked up to post doodles and other funny stuff.

Maybe they're going through a sort of mid-life crisis and miss things like My Little Ponies and those kinds of things. I DON'T KNOW.

Haha, that's what I use my other account for. Warm-ups. people give me interesting things to draw (sometimes) that I wouldn't normally draw... it's a lot of fun.

That is too fawkin great. He isn't really big on the smoking, but I can imagine him snatching a cigarette out of the mouth of someone he's "nullified" as a sort of symbolic victory for himself.
