I am kinda behind this. I spend forever on my character designs, while other people just stick a prompt into an AI machine and yeet it up on FA within 5 mins? It is undermining. Nice to know FA has our back - I hope these policies are enforced properly.

the ai technology is cool and all but people really need to cool down about it and take a huge step back to realize that the shit they are making is not THEIR art. so you put a prompt in to the robot beep boop and it shits out "art".. and they get offended when you tell them that they can't sell them! these kids need to go outside.

as someone who spends hours on a design sometimes, I really happy about this.
AI generating is good for helping with ideas and stuff, but not just saving the generated image and claiming it as your own original art- and then trying to sell it? not something I would ever support.
