Removed my AI story per FA's new rules

FA posted a new policy today that disallows AI generated content to be uploaded. An artist I follow already got an infraction for it.
Content created by artificial intelligence is not allowed on Fur Affinity.
A while back, I "co-authored" (?) a story with Novel AI ("Dragoness at Cafe") and posted it here before that policy was in place. In order to comply with the new rules and prevent me also getting an infraction, I have proactively deleted it from FA. If you still want to read it, it's not gone forever -- I will be reposting it either on my own site or discord soon, TBD. I also have a busty quad cow tftg one that I never got around to posting that I'll try to get posted there as well.
Personally, I think FA's AI rule doesn't make that much sense. Something that resamples millions of images to create something new I personally don't think would be highly derivative (unless, of course, you can see specific elements being lifted). If you can't see any correlation between the outputs and inputs, it just doesn't seem derivative to me, IMO. To be fair, the very earliest AI art tools were only trained on a handful of images and thus may have shown derivative elements, but my understanding is that the newer tools are robust enough to not do that.
Meanwhile, FA admins do nothing about outright actual character theft on this site. Seems weird they worry about AI with millions of influences, but when humans steal characters directly they don't care at all. Sigh. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

I understand that there is a possibility for artist's styles to be copied (not perfectly, but recognisable). Can happen with large artists currently ('X in the style of [artist]), potentially could be possible with smaller artists eventually but not at this stage. How copyright works in regards to AI generated things, particularly when the artists work is directly being referenced by the prompt and AI is a messy area.
Blanket bans however block some legitimate art and don't solve anything. AI generation can be used as a legitimate tool by artists and to block its use as a whole like that is silly.
