Reminder Posts

In regard to the recent policy update limiting artists to one reminder post a day (https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10321622),

We’ve found that users aren’t interacting with reminder submissions. They’re not getting views, so they aren’t doing the artists posting them any good, either! Most users ignore them, and they become a cloud of noise that doesn’t do anyone any good.
It's not just that excessive reminders don't do any good -- they actually produce negative engagement.
I've dropped more than one artist because of reminder post spam, particularly if I'm getting spammed by an image that pushes one of my squick buttons even in a thumbnail.
Once-a-day reminders still give us multiple opportunities to engage in something we might have missed the first time around, without overwhelming us.

I totally agree with this. I've unfollowed a handful of artists that would post "reminder submissions" multiple times a day.
