Shalya's backstory

This is a short description to use as a base if I ever commission a comic or something, which I want, actually.
If you have any questions about my characters, don't hesitate to ask, and will gladly answer them.
Left one night in front of the orphanage's door, she was and is currently the only skunk in town. She was always cheerful, kind, and altruistic, and so were the people she interacted with, making her too trusting of others.
This led to an episode where an older kid, a bully, always asked her to share her snack money convincing her that his family was poor and couldn't give him, and she every time happily shared with him.
After some time Shalya discovered the truth and told him to stop, so he wanted to forcefully take her money but she kept pushing him away. Since she didn't want to "cooperate" the bully then decided to badmouth the skunk: he started to spread rumors about her spray, being very stinky, even toxic, so that no one would ever approach her.
Somewhat that worked, and she was rapidly isolated by her classmates and left alone. Being too shy, she never had the strength to counter the accusations, so this reputation remained now, and people try to stay away from her, even if she never sprayed anyone in her whole life.
Now she lives alone in a small apartment on the outskirts, keeping herself as a librarian, and pursuing her hobbies in her free time while wishing to have more social interactions.
