i'm not a monarchist/royalist in the slightest and considering everything that's going on in the uk right now, i don't feel good about the amount of time and money being spent on an elderly stranger's funeral. i worry about the things parliament will put through while the country is distracted. but things are weird. i feel weird.

it feels like the past few years have been constant change everywhere that i don't have any ounce of control over even though they affect my life. this whole situation with the queen dying feels weird, because it's another huge cultural shift happening around me. and there's been so much change lately that this just has left me feeling a sadness i can't fully place. i suppose we're all feeling it right now.
