Nintendo Direct 9-13-22 my thoughts
I saw the Nintendo Direct and here are some of my thoughts.
Once again they start off with a bang. A new Fire Emblem is coming out! I saw that you can play as past Fire Emblem heroes. That's so cool! I can't wait until late January to play it!
It came out on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S last year and won 2021 Game Of The Year award. Now it's coming to the Nintendo Switch. That's right It Takes Two is coming out to the Switch soon! I might play it to see why it won last year's Game Of The Year award.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is getting a new DLC wave. I never play it yet but might, but I may have to play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 before I am able to play this.
Fitness Boxing now has Ken Kenshiro from the Fist Of The North Star anime. That's so awesome!
Front Mission 1, 2 and 3 is getting a remake. I never played it before but I will once it gets released. 2 and 3 never got shipped outside Japan so it should be interesting.
Splatoon 3 is getting its first official Splatfest and the theme is.. deserted island! If you were stranded on a deserted island, what would you bring? Gear (Tools), Grub (Food) or Fun?
Octopath Traveler is getting a sequel! I thought Triangle Strategy was the sequel to Octopath Traveler. Guess it's different from the two anyways. I haven't played the 1st one yet but I might if I want to play its sequel.
Final Fantasy is getting a musical spin-off just like Kingdom Hearts Melody Of memory called Theaterhythm Final Bar Line. It would be so cool to play different music from every Final Fantasy game! What's this? DLC music for other Square Enix games are coming soon? That's awesome!
Of course they show off more more Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. I played Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle so this should be fun.
More Nintendo 64 game for the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack is coming soon. The games are Pilotwings 64, Mario Party 1, 2 and 3, Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, 1080 Snowbording, Excitebike 64 and Goldeneye 007. All but 1080 snowboarding I'm hyped up for it. For Mario Party 1 I wonder what will happen with 3 rotating control stick minigames? Will they omit them or will they make it that one rotate = 10/15 rotates on the original N64 control stick? For Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, I wonder how we'll use the game boy part of the game? Since Goldeneye is coming out I bet people will pick Oddjob.
Mario Strikers Battle League is getting a update that includes new characters such as Pauline and Diddy Kong. Diddy Kong was in the last Mario Strikers game. More gear and a new stadium is getting added so this might be interesting.
A third wave of the DLC Booster pack for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is coming soon. Some of the tracks I'm hyped up others I'm not. it's coming out Winter of 2022/2023 so we'll have to wait until the entire tracks get reveled.
Nintendo Switch Sports will add Golf so it will be cool and you can play up to 8 players at the same time online, that's cool and I can't wait until Winter 2022/2023 to come out.
While they didn't show the official trailer for the new Mario movie, they did tell us it's coming out some time in Spring 2023, maybe they'll show the trailer in a couple months.
No freaking way. Pikmin 4 is gonna be release next year! I played Pikmin 1 on the Gamecube but not 2 and 3 so i may play at least Pikmin 3 if I want to play Pikmin 4.
More Bayonetta 3 content is shown. The game will come out around Halloween so it's fitting to release it around that time.
It also came out last year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S last year. Now it's the Nintendo Switch's turn. That's right Resident Evil 8 Village is coming to the Switch! Just like Kingdom Hearts it's gonna be released on the Cloud version. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, and the remake of Resident 2 and 3 will be on the Cloud version too.
Kirby isn't done celebrating his 30th anniversary yet. A deluxe remake of the 2011 Nintendo Wii game Kirby's Return To Dreamland is coming to the Nintendo Switch!
They saved the best for last. We finally got an official name for the sequel to The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild, and the name is The Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom! What's more it is set to be released on May 12, 2023! I cannot wait for it to be released!
That's my thoughts for Nintendo Direct. While it's such a shame that they didn't show gameplay or trailer for Metroid Prime 4, I hope they will next direct. What are some of you thoughts? Let me know in the comments below.

The funny thing, I watch a video from Around The Clock where he discuss the “leaks”. And one of the leaks mention some Gamecube games coming to the Switch. Started to think of Tales of Symphonia due it being a Gamecube exclusive till the PS3 Port. So wasn’t excepting a Remaster to be announce.
I’m curious of Tears of the Kingdom and Fire Emblem Engage, but need to get back into Three House to beat.
Wonder how It Takes Two is going to run?! Would have thought it would be a Cloud version.
And Goldemeye 007/
