First off:
Me and Nickada have bought a HOUSE!
Ok. Here is the story. About 2 months ago our shower leaked thru the ceiling into the kitchen, again, for the God's know how many times now. So as per normal we alerted our landlord. He sent out the maintenance guy a few days later. So he showed up and Nikki was the one to answer the door and let's him in..... While I was coming down the stairs, on my ass as per normal, he stood there in the living room. Talking for.10 minutes.... and then left. He didn't do shit. That was the last straw.
So she, a friend, and I finally decided to check to see if we could get a home. And it turned out that she had a good credit, and that a USDA loan was avaliable to her. So we got the ball rolling, and found a few houses. The first one was crappy, and too close to a rail yard. The next one was amazing but sadly too far out of our range. And the third was a bit small, but all the right things. A bathroom I could get in without getting out of my wheelchair, a nice open kitchen with Dishwasher, and a nice backyard with a fence and shed.
So we jumped on it. With the inspection turned out a few things needed fixed. The seller covered most of the biggest ones. And we got a friend who's gonna help by building us a ramp for the backdoor and front porch. So everything lined up great and we close this Wednesday [the 21st]. We are mostly packed up as best we can.... being in a wheelchair doesn't help. But we are ready!

Health
Well I been going to PT to learn how to walk. With the move coming up things have been hard to work around. Bit it's happening. I need to get a standing walker and a much better wheelchair [will link what that is in comments].
But the bigger news is on the 3rd I will be having back surgery to help mitigate my constant pain. I will be getting a Spinal Cord Stimulator. The easiest way to describe it is that it's a internal Tens Unit that helps block the pain signals from the lower limbs. So it will help with pain, and phantom limb. I really am hoping it works. Updates on this to come as things happen.
Life
Well besides the above things life has been going on. My mom has moved away from Knoxville so I probably won't be going back often unless it's to see my Neices and Nephew. She brought me some paintings she wanted to have safe from my sister, whom basically pulled the house out from under my mom. She also has given the my mom covid THREE FUCKING TIMES NOW.
I will admit I really do miss alot of you and my mental health has made it hard as of late. But I am trying. It's hard with the lose of a leg. But you must keep going. You must be kind. And you must love yourself as well.
