Hi again! It's me, Tatsu.
Hope everyone's week went well.
The weather here has calmed down considerably.
Mystery Drawings are going well. I'm still enjoying them. I'm really happy they are selling and each drawing feels new and fresh and I get to opportunity to show a good part of the character.
I always got a bit sad during YCH's when say, there's a character with just the back showing and the chosen character for the slot has a plain back but a really cool interesting front. I'd want to draw the best part of the character, ya know?
With Mystery Drawings, I can, so that's pretty cool.

I feel art is at its best when it moves you, makes impressions or invokes feelings and your art has tons of it.

Yeah I really think I'm onto something cool. It's like artistic freedom mixed with gambling. Cause its kind of like a gacha game. XD
Yeah, i really try to get good emotion in my comic. I really like reading comics that move me. So I'm happy to be able to create one myself.
Yeah, this way there’s no question of “what pose?” What expression? What emotion? And a bunch of back and forth that takes up time.
True Gacha art. Woo. XD
There is one thing, though. It seems like most of the slots go to the same people every time you open up, which makes it harder for others to get a chance. Would you be open to the idea of making it so once a person gets a slot, they can't get a slot the following week? That way, more people can get in on this.
Just a thought.
Usually the Mystery Drawing slots are posted around 11am-12pm on Sundays.
