Brazil may get politically spicy
So for those who don't know, this sunday here in Brazil we will have the presidential elections, and this time we kinda have a Trump x Biden situation but much much worse...the two main candidates are literal nemesis to each other but that is not the real main issue, the issue is that Brazil may become once again a murderous right wing dictatorship (it was some decades ago in case you don't know) why?
because of our current president Jair Bolsonaro, for those who don't know he is essentially a far right piece of shit, imagine Trump but even worse, he was fear mongering the "gay agenda" way before it was popular to do so,he fucked the country during the pandemic, he claims to be pro free speech but he constantly uses the judiciary power to censor news against him and his shitty family and so on.
I would write a long text about how much of a piece of shit he is BUT John Oliver has a very good video that explains it for english speakers:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyS.....astWeekTonight
But I guarantee u he is not even scratching the surface, anyway, what matter is, different from Trump,Bolsonaro has the military support specially here in the south states (everywhere I look there's pro Bolsonaro shit and nothing of opposing parties) and judging from the vibes I get from normies most people would be totally board with some sort of Christofacist governament, Brazil is a already a very backwards and bigoted country by nature, and from the news I get the far right ideological sewage from United States is already dripping on our shores, names like Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh and so on are already being pronounced in places they shouldn't, and this worries me deeply...if the american "trans debate" get serious traction here it will be disastrous.
the good news is Lula, the opponent of Bolsonaro is massacring in the vote polls, if the projection continues he will win handily in the first round!...but I aint super happy with the idea of him winning either, he is kinda progressive and shit, but although he is left wing, he is kinda "oldschool left wing" so he is automatically in favour of anyone who is against USA, so yeah he is kinda pro Russia,Iran,China and so on...and it also worries me alot if we found ourselves in a global conflict soon, I say that, because in the beginning of WWII Brazil was disturbingly close to nazi Germany, and decades later was revealed that United States was planning to invade Brazil if needed so...yeah you get my point, and I'm not even talking about an actual invasion, economic sanctions would already be disastrous enough, if Europe and United States give us half of the cock block they gave Russia, Brazil will crumble in weeks.
So yeah in summary, my country can go to shit in the next days and if it happen I don't doubt our connection to the internet will be cut or heavily censored,if I get silent for a while you know the reason...If Bolsonaro says he will only leave his office dead, I will be glad to see it happen.
Ah sim e antes que eu me esqueça, se por acaso algum seguidor meu for bolsominion, eu só tenho duas coisas a te dizer: Saia da minha galeria seu porco fascista e Adélio Bispo did nothing wrong! 8D

I'm not trying to argue politics, but I'm a huge History junkie xD
also massive L for Canada.
Wouldn't put it past Bolsonaro to pull some Trumpian shit. He's certainly hinted at it.
Best of luck to all Brazilians.
as well as you can, anyway.
Everything he did was in the mold of a wannabe dictator, culminating with his attempted coup on Jan sixth.
Are you a troll, or just an ignorant, brainwashed tool of the far right?
Why do you think Trump was a dictator?
It's an EXTREMELY long list, but, as I said, his attempted coup is example number one.
and how was Jan 6 an "attempted coup" ?
it's all a repetitive game of wording, gaslight, denial and focus shifting from people who have no intention to change...but anyway I have my lefty 1984 block button powers given to me by Jorge Soros himself during my initiation in the satanic communist trans cabal, and I will use them, anyone who got angry with this post will say that now I became a coward brainwashed cuck or something along these lines anyway, so there's no reason to don't use it.
Sorry if I may have instigated their clueless outbursts here a bit, I frequently choose to oppose these folks where I see them.
I personally don't like to create a hostile,censorious/exclusionary atmosphere on my page, but the situation with the american right reached a point that I can't simply ignore anymore, I don't feel comfortable with the idea of people that abhor my existence just comming here and vibbing with my work like I'm some sort of corporate entity made to entertain them and hold no opinions.
As an artist, this is hardly something you should have to deal with, but everything these days is political, for better or worse.
I don't personally choose to block people. I don't mind engaging with these folks from time to time, as much of a waste of time it sometimes seems.
Try looking up "Jan sixth coup", "Jan sixth insurrection", or "Trump fascism", for instance.
Have you watched or listened to any of the Jan Sixth hearings, as an example?
Apparently, the claim that Trump perpetuated Jan 6th is nothing more than another whacky leftist conspiracy theory that has no basis reality, just like the two sham impeachment attempts on him. There is NO EVIDENCE of it.
If Trump is a wannabe dictator, he's doing a really bad job at it.
I am an independent voter and person of color, don't get me wrong. I hate the Republican party, but after seeing what the Left has done the last 6 years to this country, I will be voting Red with prejudece this November.
You must be getting your information from some really sketchy sources. I suggest you look at lot deeper into it and broaden your range of sources. "Leftist conspiracies" against the orange dude are a creation of rightist media, and the evidence against Drumpf is mounting by the day.
Yeah, he did a bad job at it, like he did with everything else.
You're playing yourself, friend.
Like NPR and MSNBC, am I right?
Yeah, right, come on, my dude. It's been six years of leftists saying "the evidence against Drumpf is mounting by the day", and "the walls are closing in."
To quote Sergeant R. Lee Ermey, "Well, any f*cking time, sweetheart!" Either do it, or shut it.
You're on the wrong side of history here, friend. Time will prove this if you don't believe it now.
And Gunny was a little fascist twerp.
I never made it clear where my standings were, but I guess I will indulge you.
I'm on the side of the preservation of the family, the preservation of national identity, patriotism, personal responsibility, meritocracy, equality of opportunity and the indisputable right to Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness, as spelled out in our founding documents and Bill of Rights.
I will also support anyone, however imperfect, who will see to it that these values of mine are preserved for future generations.
So...if that puts me on the wrong side of history, I'd hate to be right.
I refuse to be right, in that case.
Because I know what your side stands for. Do you?
I already lost count how many times I read this exact same comment in different words done by different people in different places.
anyway you blocked, feel free to screenshot it and say you was silenced by the evil radical left.
I'll go ahead and indulge you back, and lay my cards on the table, for what it's worth.
As far as the "Right side of history": To be clear, I was referring to your defense of Drumpf and the right wing, but I'm willing to expand that.
I'm 63 years old. I've had a bit of time to think about these things.
I've had time to study and think deeply about them. I've debated them with people of many ideologies. My beliefs are hard won, and can be backed up by facts and deeply held moral beliefs. I know quite well what I stand for.
Your attitude strikes me as narrow and self-righteous.
Let's start from something we agree on: "The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".
I find your claims of "The family, the preservation of national identity, patriotism, personal responsibility, meritocracy, equality of opportunity" to be narrow and reductive.
Most of these things are based in patriarchy, nationalism, jingoism, and a vision of an America that never really existed.
I find these ideas to be directly in opposition to the concepts of "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" as they should be experienced by everyone, as well as the other founding principles of the country.
Our founding documents were remarkably progressive for their time, but were also rooted in that time. At that time only wealthy white men had a voice, and the oppression of women, indigenous people, and black people, for instance, was commonly accepted as normal. A document crafted 250 years ago is going to have its flaws, and indeed it does. True justice goes far beyond a piece of paper from that long ago, and many of the people who crafted it would agree if they were here today. No doubt that most of the people behind it would endorse its being updated as the times require. Originalism is a dangerous fallacy, for many reasons.
I believe in love, respect for the Earth and all beings, true justice for all, the abolition of racist and patriarchal dominance, abolition of state, carceral, and military oppression, as well as capitalism and borders, to name a few.
Are we going to have these things tomorrow? No. But if we can't imagine them, we never will.
In addition, I'll say that I'm against the right and fascism, which believes in a top-down system, by its nature oppressive, and instead favor a leftist system, which is organized in a bottom-up or horizontal manner, and thus is ultimately far more democratic.
All power to the people!
And I never called you a fascist, although I'd be happy to if it'd make you feel any better, coward.
I sure hope this is the start of a better future for Brazil.
And Bolsonaro really turned up the loony crap there. Just like here in the US, there seems to be no shortage of people all too ready to believe some truly insane shit.
