I have had a Vol. 1 Nr. 2 since the kid who ran the comic shop at my favorite bookstore convinced me I needed it, almost 40 years ago. He was right; no regrets...

I had one of those, but Sold it two years ago in poor shape for $1200 to finance some needed purchases. THe issue not only had the first appearance of Usagi Yojimbo, but a nice little Lela Dowling comic *Illustrating the Lion and The Unicorn). Still one of those comics that was very influential to me, and showed how well Steve understood B/W Art and printing as it was one of the few B/W comics i had where the contrasts matched.

Thanks. I was also keen on quality of product so used a much higher grade of paper that has stood the test of time very well so far.

Whoa, they are going for that much? Hmm, I might be sitting on a few thousand dollars then... yikes.

A very crispy copy can easily go up to $10K or higher, especially if graded and slabbed.

I'd be interested if there were a run of reprints but I have neither the money to buy an original print collectible like that, nor the means to reliably store it without having it permanently sealed in plastic at a grading agency.

Some stuff is just meant to be read.
