Still alive

Did a quick journal just to let you know that I am still there. As unfortunate as it is, I got my system infected thanks to a clever asshole that baited me into an alleged "beta game"; so I had to reinstall my system. That was like, 2 weeks ago, though. I'm currently not as confident in my art, so even if I tried to draw something, I feel stuck, unable to bring something interesting. I hope that can explain the lack of submissions.

That guy is a jerk!
Essentially, the Spanish server was about to reach 400 members. Back when the year started, they were roughly 100. Most of that growth was thanks to these places and the networking they offered. The problem? It was an advertisement server for Discord servers, so it was mostly reduced to mere networking, with almost no users joining in. In a time where almost everyone posts in social media, it's shocking that auto-advertising is so awfully restricted all over the Internet.
I hate being a victim, but I have been a victim, all because the actual safe places on the Internet were too scared of their members sharing their socials. Because the people there got used to dislike people that openly talk about their projects in this massive net.
I wouldn't have needed to be there if I got proper places to meet strangers while openly talking about my creations. But I had to, because it was the only "legit" way that was certain. That, and growing in other social media, but nowadays it's almost impossible to do what you really want to and get some recognition in the process.
The Internet needs to evolve in a way where people can share their passion about their hobbies, even if that means through videos, streams, even their own communities. Be it through any form or place, but in places far safer. Places where you would get banned for attempting to do a fucking criminal offense (let's be honest, he fucking infected my system and I'm sure I am not the only victim of that shit) and not because you shared "the competition".
Quick edit: I seriously love when sites such as FA are a thing. No algorithms. No bias. You post something and it gets pitched to the front page. As easy as that. It is the same old way where you would understand, that auto-advertising was dumb and worth banning, because all it took to be seen, was to post. People say that spam is unfair, but the way social media works nowadays, it feels like the big creators have a golden ticket to spam, which is the shit that keeps them on top, no matter what.
