Perhaps I don't need to do this, but I stopped doing it a long while ago, and realized how much its biting me in the butt right now. In 2018, after several years of using laptops, I decided to move over to a desktop computer, given how it was clear that I wouldn't travel as much. However it became clear that for traveling, it'd be handy to have a laptop, so I bought one. To have a track record of everything, here's the specs:

Desktop from 2020:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor 3.2 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
GraphicsCard: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
OS: Windows 10, pre-installed

Laptop from October 2022:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Six-Core Processor 3.3 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
GraphicsCard: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
OS: Had to install Windows 10 myself. Need to still buy the license. The laptop originally came with Windows 11, which was expensive, hence why I bought it without any.

So, despite not making an effort to have something stronger, it is certain surpassing my current desktop. Most curious!
