DISCLAIMER: This is not directed towards anyone, this is a simple rant expressing my feelings and wanting to share it with the people who support me. This is also a written reason as to why my requests will be closed for an indefinite amount of time. Thank you.



I recently took requests thinking it would be a fun thing to do to and to interact with the community more. It’s a little ridiculous (And funny) to see people blatantly not read my information or footers and see if I take requests that they are closed. Also the pick me energy some people have given me with wanting requests from me but not respecting that I’m currently not taking requests is astonishing. It’s putting a bad taste with requests for me.

Artists put a lot of time and effort into their art. And requests aren’t paid. It’s not beneficial to the artist to create requests for people who do not support them. I did them because I wanted to. And various people flood to my page, asking, and sometimes demanding a request from me. I don’t owe anyone free art. I’ve been starting to regret opening requests. I’m not even upset at the fact that I’m doing these requests for free, because I was expecting that. I’m upset at the expectation that since I made art of people’s requests now they want me to do their requests and requests of things that won’t even benefit my profile, such as requests of their sonas or Oc’s.

My requests will be closed indefinitely, and in the future I will open it to people who support me or open slots for it. I don’t feel comfortable taking requests anymore in the state that it is.

I’d be super happy to draw your sonas, or ideas! In fact, I have a special that the first person to support me and buy me a coffee on Kofi will get personalized art from me. Now that my rant is over, I’d like to thank those who have supported me in favoriting my art, requested respectfully, and who are currently watching me. I’ve been on FA for a short amount of time, and I’ve been touched by the people who enjoy my art and desire it. It’s an artist’s greatest joy, and I can’t believe I have the support that I currently have.
