Healing Maw Food Recommendations ?
First off, sorry for being less responsive than usual for the past few months and not replying to people like normal ! It’s been hard for me health wise, heh.
Onto the subject. Anyone know any food recommendations for someone who had a tooth pulled? Im on day 5 and I’m still eating soft foods because I'm a weenie who's afraid of messing it up. I was told no spicy foods or crunchy foods while it was healing, so it’s put a huge restriction on my diet!
So far I’ve been living off of-
Campbells chunky soups. I can just swallow these thankfully, no chewing!
Instant noodles, like maruchan cups
Ice cream shakes. Lots of ice cream shakes with cereal! Fruity pebbles and trix are my go to.
Tossing in multivitamins and supplements because i know none of that is nutritious
Any folks with ideas? Im still suffering some repercussions from health issues so cooking difficult stuff is hard. I lost some hearing in one ear and im having balancing issues, along with being super sleepy and weak from the infection that cause me to lose my toof.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’ve heard from multiple people that gallbladder pain is the worst X_x i hope you got better fast
Also I'm glad I didn't do something to upset you ( ; x ; ) That was most worried about when I didn't get replies haha.
Food Wise:
- Jello
- Fruit Cups
- Mushed Bananas
- Yogart
- Mac n Cheese (they come in easy cook cups)
- Pudding
- PB&J Sandwiches (cut into small bites)
- Mashed Potatoes
- Fruit & Veggie Smoothies/Blends
- Hummus on Soft Flatbread (cut into small bites)
Thank you for this list! I think im going grocery shopping after work to pick up some of these goodies. A cheesy garlic mash kinda sounds good right now, same with mac and cheese!
- greek yogurt, the probiotics are super helpful whenever you have any mouth issues going on! I add honey to help with the healing process, and because it's yummy. or just buy greek honey yogurt!
- vanilla milkshakes. this is largely due to spending so much of my life sick, and may just be a comfort thing since ever since I can remember my mom would get me a little vanilla milkshake after doctor apps and rough health stuff, but it helps!
- soups, which you already seem to have going, so good! There are lots of different options, chicken broth ones are super good for you due to all the good stuff in chicken broth, but soup in general is typically a safe go to that'll help you get some much needed protein and vitamins in one go.
- hot cereals, like malt-o-meal, or cocopuffs if you can find them (I have to order the darn things) are amazing! Not only are they packed with lots of good stuff, but are finer than oatmeal if you have issues with oatmeal getting stuck in your teeth. Oatmeal is also good, but it can be harder to eat if you have texture issues.
-Pudding! I love getting pudding cups, or making cook and serve and shamelessly eating the whole thing from the pot. No judgement. Same goes for making home cooked custard, which is super good for ya since it's fulla eggs, but it can be time consuming.
- Scrambled eggs!
- SMOOTHIES
- Mashed potatoes with various kinds of gravy is always super easy on the tum/teeth, and filling!
Good luck and godspeed my friend!
#Mash Potatoes.
#Frenchfries (get some of that crunch back!)
#plain white toast bread with jam or pate (stay away for peanut butter/nutella , too sticky)
#Potato Buns (Aka Knödel) with brown sauce
just make sure you chew only on the good side of your jaw :P
