2- Hmm, I have a hard time choosing one song and don't bother with movies so here goes- Distortion (drum and base music, by DJ Micro if my brother was correct. These DJs use many names so he was guessing by style). Think hard sounding music for a horror situation with a really danceable beat.
- In memoriam Soproni Tendl Pal (Traditional Hungarian folk by Kalman Balogh and the group Meta). Starts like a funeral march, but evolves into a rustic dance tune.
- No Bavarean (Swiss folk music by the Die Knodel group). The sound just kind of lurches forward, and it seems to give you a feeling like drifting back into a memory or dream...

4- Nothing I say makes sense to anyone ^0^; Maybe that would only make sense to you and me...

5- The prototype- the first ever fat chu, that DID NOT look like every other one before it or after- I think it was your featured submission then, though I'm not sure exactly which image because my memory has always been halfassed -.-;

6- Hmm, I hope this doesn't sound unkind but you make me think of a porcupine- Big and unmovable, hard to touch, yet elegant in its own way. A possible prey item of course, but not for just any ol' set of jaws ^w^

7- Man.. so much to ask, but so much of it could be useless bullshit... How early on did you think about deep things like possible meanings for life?

8- You provoke though, -and- you are intense! These are two of the highest values that I put to artistry and philosophy- prehaps even life itself...

9- My apologies for saying so, but not only are you often not very motivated as an artistic thinker, but you can be so hard to get motivated that it's like pushing a boulder uphill.

r6. I'd argue that you'd be hard pressed to find something elegant about a porkupine. However, does sound like a fantastic way to sum me up.
r7. I'm not that much of a philosopher honestly. I think something, and then I look for answers and relevent information regarding it. For the most part though, it's all pretty subjective, it's hard to have an ultimately objective idea of the meaning of life. I choose the meaning like I do my cloths, to suit my mood, somedays it's pointless to live so I can relax, others it's reproduction, so I have reason to look good or flirt with someone, and some days it's something as offbeat as just proving I'm better than people.
r9. Oh it's no bother, I know I'm obscenely difficult to motivate. All throughout school and beyond. Even Coersion doesn't do much to get me going, and honestly I'd say its a trait that just comes with awareness. "Okay, they're saying they're going to kick me out if I don't get a job. My mother is motivated by guilt, my father loves me dearly, they have no idea where they could put me up if they kicked me out because they don't want to hurt their kid. Additionally, they know if they put me somewhere else, I'd mooch there too. Therefor, they're really just saying "Please get a job, but you don't have to."".
That sort of thing. Though in the end, I ended up getting a job because I was sick of having such slim food options every week.

For 6 I'd say that it's much like the duck in certain ways- You have to understand that it's good just to see it. It doesn't need to be touched, put on a leash, or otherwise domesticated ^u^b

For 7, Man, your moods are so much more unique than mine ^.^ I have a set level of feeling 90% of the time- When I wake up after a full sleep I'm very sensitive to both physical and emotional elements, but since I've always had the option of setting up barriers it's never been an issue. Essentially I'd say that having strong emotional interaction with another person outside of self is an alien concept to me...

1- Yours was the first patterned character that I tried taking seriously, didn't catch on for me, but I wasn't going to halfass the markings because I liked 'em ^u^

2- Love fool (pop music by the Cardigans). Very teen romantic kinda bidness, probably can be found on youtube since it's modern..
- Winter Garden (chanson music by Keren Ann). A refelective, almost acoustic rock song about(as far as the translated lyric snippet tells) the things(memories etc.) that she would want in her Winter garden. Most likely this refers to 'sunshine' to be used during the harshest parts of the harshest season.

3- Raspberry, cause it's tangy ^0^

4- Kiba's worse off alive than Erro is dead ^w^

5- A character ref, which I wouldst for quite some time memorize, until my coloring inspiration all got spent for that particular time ^.^;

6- Bat, hands down. You don't see by eye so much, you don't fly by feather, and you don't walk on all fours -or- upright. You're like the option E in a list that only goes to D ^0^

7- Nothing that's reasonable at all to ask, but what caused so much self-hatin'? I'll admit that my biggest misunderstanding is that I've been too removed from everyone in society to tell, and I'll understand if it's presumed I should either know or figure it out ^.^;

8- You make scenes more than anything else as an artist, and that has a special place in my heart as an art form.

9- Many times you make my eyes work so hard to pull in all the color/fractal details that my eyes just don't have the patience to appreciate the work. I can't really get them to just unfocus and swallow it whole either...

to be honest, I hate myself a lot less these days. ^-^ it's definitely a good thing. But that's because I've taken special care to be the person I want to be. Back then, I didn't care so much, and I did many a thing to be regretted. but hey, high school angst, inferiority complexes, you know it's generally just a way to get attention. X3 I'll admit that straight up.

well, I guess it was because I was a loner, and that makes one feel rather inferior. As a kid with five siblings, and being the quiet one amongst them, I got very little attention from my parents. But all the time hanging out alone as a kid really boosted my creativity and my imagination, anyways. Then once high school came, I always seemed to be hurting the people around me, like my parents, my old friends that arent so much my friends anymore. I wasn't easy to get close to, for anyone except my boyfriend, and our relationship seemed to cause nothing but trouble back then. (typical romeo and juliet scenario. my parents hated him) But I made it clear, unfortunately, that I would rather be with him than anyone, even my family. I left home several times before moving out indefinitely at the age of 16. X3 needless to say, I dropped out of school pretty quickly after that, I had no friends but only shallow aquaintances, the only interesting people I knew were his friends, older and more inclined to want to be interesting people. Of course, to this day, I am probably more close to people on the internet than most of my friends in reality. I've got one or two people aside from fireseed that I can truly be myself around, without shame or masks. That's not to say I dont enjoy the company of our many other buddies, too.

Ah, thanks for helping me to understand! I think the sibling thing is an accurate starting point- The old saying goes 'the squeeky wheel gets the oil' and that is also very true of children in large families. The more attention one demands the more they get, and the more ego strokes tend to come along with it. As for negative effects, that's much more common among people in general than society would have you think; From what I've observed many of the people who put on the appearance of having the best friends/relationships are just hiding the tension so they can put on a strong 'front'. Lastly, I hope at some point you and I can talk more deeply as well. You are one of only about a handful of internet folks who really seems to things worth saying. Good day!

1. You're awfully flattering. You do this sort of dreaming thing where you're hoping that intellectualism and philosophy will be strong traits again. Ever seen the movie Idiocracy? I actually just saw it 3 days ago. In that time, I also watched Jeff Dunham do standup, Carlos Mencia, and It Only Hurts When I Laugh - A show that dedicates more than maybe 75% of its airtime to a segment called "Egads my Nads" - showing clips of people getting hit in the balls.

2. Woops, suppose I should have saved the Idiocracy thing for this part. It's a movie about what the future is going to be, if you haven't seen it.

8. Maybe it's kinda insulting but your art. It's pretty fantastic. Of course that would be insulting if you don't think that art is a reflection of how developed or active someones mind is. 1- You are, as far as I know, the most persistantly positive commenter on the internet ^u^b

2- Pop (Semi-classical guitar piece by the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet). The melody is very basic and easy to follow, but just a little ways into the track they start throwing in improvisation that show added skill and if you just play it once you'll miss a lot of subtle details.

- Rock the dead (Something between rap and rock by the duo known as Twizted). If you want to pay attention to the lyrics there's certainly a story to tell, but the main focus is really the thumpin' bass and synth melody.

6- The Eastern chipmunk actually- I've seen them around my apartment complex, and I've gotta say they seem like the hardest living and most active things on the ground. They're extra tiny so you'd imagine they couldn't run very far or fast but they're even faster than most of the rabbits I've seen! At their size I can only imagine how far that must be to them comparitively, but it seems incredible. The main point I mean to convey is that you strike me as wired and very industrious to an extent that I have a hard time understanding from my fairly relaxed viewpoint.

7- Sorry to pry, but just how many hours of sleep do you get in a day ^.^? I've read from you at many different times of day and find myself curious to know.

8- Your seemingly endless positivity, which I hope can bring you just as much joy as it has brought to those around you.

7 - its never the same - i wake up lots and lots and lots durign the time i'm in bed, and i usually stay in bed about 8 hours but soemtimes not much of tat is actual sleep, and a lot of times i get 4 hours or less, or 1 hour, or 30 minutes... then soemtimes i wake up so much but am still so tired from not sleeping, i am laying there for 10 hours, but still very tired after getting up
also, *when* i go to bed is always different too, it all depends whats going on outside my house and what happened the night before, and right before i go to bed
soooooo many things to kill my sleep, and nothing to help it x.x

1- I mistook your persona as a teen or younger when I first saw your Hartists gallery, first because your icon was Gatomon and second because of the playful manners in which you designed and described your work ^0^;

2. Ott ahoz a magyar folio (the first Hungarian rock song I linked you to, by Karpatia). Plenty of guitar action, but balanced with other strong elements so it doesn't just turn into a bunch of cluttered noise.

- Agh im anush Yarus (the Armenian love song I had a link to at the very top of my music journal, by Richard Hagopian). This may be a love song but it has the exuberant bump of belly dance music coupled in that performance with the string rocking of a 'guitar hero'.

3- Puppy flavor, ROFL /^0^/ Seriously though, I imagine grape would do very nicely

4- I don't really remember anything truly unique I've said to you.. Now I feel bad ^.^;

5- I first remembered when I had a work on HA that you made the only interesting comment on it. From that point on I was intrigued to know more about your ideas and after I saw it fullsize(not just your icon), your art style.

6- While Yamikari pup made puppy the obvious choice, I'm going to delve deeper into the question- I'd say Northern river otter (totally didn't see it coming did ya ^o^), because you're okay enough on land(physical life), but you're much more built for water(dreams, internet, things that are not as solid). Also because you're just so playful *^o^*

7. How do you come up with the core concepts behind your character designs? They always seem to have that lovable 'kid's show' quality that almost no one gets right as an artist.

8- Line method, woooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! If you hadn't guessed(I'm sure you have though) the lines are the highest technical skill on my artist list, and I find myself respecting lively line work more than the fanciest CG.

9- To be quite honest, there are some times when you choose a very inconvenient time to critique, especially on little details. Most of the time that's very helpful but every once in a long while there'll be that one work where I just wasn't thinking about it from a technical aspect and when it's brought up that way all the freeform value is kinda pushed aside- That rubs me the wrong way >.>

does this means you much prefer traditional work to digital, regardless of the digital one's quality?
is it sort of a disinteresting aspect for a artwrok to be digital, for you personally?

Yes and no- I can respect the lines of digital work much more than the colors of it because (as far as I know)there aren't as many things you can do with it to use the computer in place of skill. As for traditional vs. digital line work, my eyes are most entertained by real textures and the randomness of how ink and the grain of paper interact. Digitally there are no true variations in the lines, and I don't mean line widths or what have you, I mean the actual 'texture' of the line itself. Digital lines are only as thick or thin as they're told to be, they don't fade in and out, they don't have spots where the ink didn't quite take, and they don't have true interactions with eachother like when shading is done manually.

i'd do more traditional if i was worth a flip with it...
if its any consolation on color, i have to do it same as i would traditionally, i dont have a "paint bucket / fill" option X3
the largest difference between the two for me, as far as making the art, is i can vary the canvas size to compensate for lack of or need of more movement in the strokes, and mistakes are as quickly undone as they are made
without those two, my art suffers a bit, in particular on the undoing of mistakes
when working traditionally, i lose so much time in fixing mistakes that my mental image becomes distorted or lost...
i especially hate inking which is just about a necessity for coloring, as pencil smears...
there are subtle details in pencil which cannot be replicated in pen too, and an uncolored work is rather drab if some type of gray-scale lead shading isnt used, and i'm nowhere near good enough to do that... plus, lead shading mistakes are such a bear to fix... x.x;

2- With such luck with injuries you remind me of a sort of melancholy tune titled Dumka and Kolomyika(Two different music forms of traditional Ukrainian origins, by Pawlo Humeniuk and ensemble). It starts out really slow, totally ragging on the violins, and then evolves into a pretty bitchin' dance tune(If you can really get down to village music like I do that is ^w^)

6- A raccoon, and it's hella hard not to while looking at said avatar... Still, the crafty and adaptive critter fits pretty well- It can live on land, is fairly good in water, and can get along pretty well in urban areas as well ^u^b

8- You keep things upbeat and positive, even while injured- Generally seems to be only one journal a piece and only for important stuff. I've read from a few who go on about being sick with something mild like a cold >.>
