"Rising Star" Intro video concept

Moo!
So.. woke up this morning with a movie playing in my head. Probably most of you don't know this, but I'm working with some friends trying to develop a video game which were calling Rising Star for now.. for many symbolic reasons :P
anyway.. this movie in my head was the intro video to rising star. I rushed to my computer, and wrote out all the scenes I could before they faded. Here it is.
All of this set to a very emotional musical score.. not sure what genera yet though.
Starts with a panoramic view of an earth city in the near future. busy city street, almost utopia, little crime, little fear.
Camera zooms out, upwards, then swings to the right over the city line showing distant sky scrapers… then finds the edge of the city, parkland cliffs overlooking an almost Californian ocean view.
Zoom in now on one of these grassy overlooks and you find a elderly Asian gentlemen, maybe in his 60's or 70's sitting with his smiling grandson on the grass.. hes keeling over a flat block of concrete with a metal tower, maybe 15 feet tall.
Inside the metal framework is a rocket, a high powered model rocket, the kind meant to reach low orbit that mostly only the real enthusiasts build. This is more modern though (futuristic) using newer technology to allow it a lighter fuel payload (probably can ignore this)
they stand up and step back… screen pans upwards towards the sky, clouds, birds, no pollution, again a utopia view.
The rocket shoots up from below, billowing smoke.
The camera follows it up.. the view fades in to a change of rocket.. this time its a passenger/payload rocket. That grandson is now looking out the window, distinctly the same person but aged by maybe 10 years.
He is leaving utopia to support utopia, work in the space docks to move ore and manufacturing materials from space to earth.
Another view, far far away from here, maybe 10 years later, the same boy, now in his late 20s. Hes in a space suit drilling in to an asteroid with two or three others around him working.
An accident occurs, one of his partners dies. A look of anger crosses the man's face.
A tribunal, the man is yelling profoundly, demanding, but the look on the face of the Utopian judges is stone… no pity.
Next the man is shown another 10 years aged, wearing chains, using a simple pick axe underground… zoom out through rock, showing the surface of mercury, the sun blazing above it.
Next scene, the man walks free, a stone cold expression on his face, narrowed eyes.
Next hes shown flying in to the asteroid mining station, coming out of the dock to find black suited troopers wielding rifles, faceless, scary, towering. A panoramic view of the station, showing them where ever there are workers working. Its martial Law.
An uprising, the man in the middle, looking not much older. Troopers cut down where they stand by laser cutters, and other heavy mining tools.
Fleets of cargo ships drifting through space next, the flagship with the man standing at the head, looking out as they come to earth. looking dour and angry.
High earth orbit, the ships floating, looking menacing.. spread over the entire globe. There was no defense fleet to stop them. The screen pans inwards towards the lead ship, situated over china. Zoom in on the bridge, find the man yelling in to a com unit, pointing at earth. The screen pans up to faces of people similar to those judges, stony, unforgiving… but starting to crack with emotion, anger and fear… they begin to yell back.
The communication is cut, the screen pans down to show the man's finger on the kill switch… then he looks over his shoulder and nods.
The view switches to showing the cargo bay of the ship, suited workers dragging huge bars of nickle/iron towards the entrances. Nothing special about them, just metal rods maybe a meter across and ten meters long.
The view switches again, to show dozens of ships and a large cross-section of earth. These rods emerge, slowly at first, then pick up speed, start to glow in the upper atmosphere…
View switches to one of these rods, above and behind it a little.. maybe half way up its length… like a shuttle re-entry. You see the glowing end, sparks flying off, roaring through the atmosphere… perhaps even allow the musical score to encompass this angry decent… The view of the planet gets clearer.. decent closer… a large city coming in to view. anti-aircraft weapons and anti-missile weapons fire at it.. but its going so fast even the one or two that hit.. (most you see flitting by and beyond the screen) just knock it slightly off course…. it zooms in on the cliff side where the man and his grandfather had launched their first rocket…. then the screen goes white.
A rapid view of space battles, missiles, fighters, clouds of projectiles, laser weapons.. slowly increasing in tech level… A view of the man with a wife, looking grim, her pregnant… a wedding photo… Another view of the same woman, with a 4 year old child on a barge fleeing from enemy fire.. The ship gets hit, the mother dies, the child lives. Another view of that same child on the original asteroid mining station.. grungy, panhandling.
More views of warfare.. then a view of war outside the asteroid station.. the station being hit badly… escaping ships fleeing.. zoom in on one of these you find that child, in her teens.. laying in a medical bed on a respirator.
A later view, calm music, serene almost. The child walking a long hallway, too dark to make much of it.. shes a bit older. She steps in to sunlight, and walks out in to mars atmosphere, a respirator on her face, but enough pressure to breathe. She steps in to line with others.. marching towards a ship, a large shuttle or drop-ship.
this is where it would end, with the shuttle launching and docking inside a large capital ship… and this is where the first story would begin.
