Ok, after lurking here for a year I have decided to post the beginning of a story and see what the community thinks.

I often plot out stories in my head, but rarely write them down. Thinking about them is fun and easy. Writing is fun, but actual work! I'll write down more of it if there is any interest in reading more.

And of course if anyone wants to draw an illustration you are welcome to do so. One reason I am posting this is in the hopes I might provide ideas or inspiration to some of the great artists here. It's the circle of life. I see something and write about it, others read things and draw about them.
