It's kind of funny to see you claim 'murder, she wrote' as an influence! I will say that sort of tight pov follow of curious characters revealing murderous plots is what always gets me engaged in your stories, you pull it off enough to keep me reading despite sometimes not really being into the violence depicted.

Yeah, I grew up watching shows like Murder, She Wrote, The Poirot movies, Sherlock Holmes, Ms. Marple, so on. And reading the book versions, of course. I love those sorts of things, so they obviously had an influence on an aspiring young rat's writing. Obviously, I take the focus to the murder more these days. ^_^ Thank you for the kind words. That someone can enjoy a story despite not be into some of the kinks on display is a great compliment. <3

I have not one, but two series in the works with a murder mystery theme to them. One is more Poirot, one is "hard boiled" PI noir with some supernatural aspects.
