What a great idea! I hope you will receive lots of meaningful feedback.
Personally, I already have 2 OCs; and with my very limited time, I feel that I cannot even keep up with my world-building for those two.
That is the reason I refrain from obtaining more OCs - I would not do them justice. I see several other folks in our community struggling with similar problems: one sees a cute adoptable character; one purchases it; and then the poor little thing just sits there in the gallery, and nothing ever happens - no art commissions, no story writing, ... And eventually the person tries to sell them again. Very sad.
Long story short: while I am often tempted to adopt new characters; I always work hard to resist that temptation.
Instead, for myself, I prefer commissions or YCHs for the characters I already own.
But, of course, this is just my own personal opinion.
