i get annoyed when other artists are like "does anybody have recommendations for a paypal alternative?" and then they get 40 responses and don't share any of what they learned

Unfortunately If you want to be the safest you can be then avoiding silicon valley and international banking institutions and their middlemen altogether was/still is the best route, but most people are not able to do that given how deep this monopoly goes. All i can really say is be prepared for this to get worse and Good Luck

There has been instances were Stripe have been known to freeze peoples funds or with hold money for 90 days.
There is a plause in the paypal rules were they can charge you a penalty of " $2500 USD" for each instance that goes against their ToS. I couldn't find anything about making sexual content but its 3am and i might have over looked it. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/m.....ted-activities

Ordinarily I think they would laugh at you and close your account. But this has been a rough week for PayPal! Maybe they will be nice.

Hey, just keep in mind that yes, Google Pay (which was rebranded into Google Wallet last month) is available in a lot of countries, but only for Google services and NFC payment in physical stores.
I have seen some online shops having Google Pay next to Paypal button but it always fails because it's not available here.

Also, can you contest drawing naked pikachu by saying pikachu is always naked? I think there's an official manga that uses juvenile humor and I think has some censor bars (usually used for humor) so you could say you're just going off of official works
it is other characters who are more iffy, characters who are either in families with parents/father figures, or characters who fit in juvenile parts of human society (going to school)
turns out paypal's aup isn't referring to art.
all art is seen as art to paypal not nsfw therefore it is safe under their policy.
The reason people get banned is because of automatic verification systems.
if you put nsfw or porn or expicit in the transaction notes, or pay fields or Just about anywhere that you can put text or actually attach the file to an invoice or something their automated system will flag your account and ban it.
This ban can be undone.
you just have to call the support number and talk to an actual person.
I can not stress call enough.
The chat feature workers don't have any clue what they are doing and are mostly just giving canned responses.
But yeah Tldr porn artists are actually fine under paypal
