Hey I been thinking now on my manga project of the art styles i should use for it
Should I go for like the netflix cartoon anime style like Devil-man crybaby and Cyberpunk edgerunner
OR
Insane realism each panel like Berserk and Akira in looking like a Yakuza series

im just asking if i should make it simple or make it insane real
Simpler is probably the way, good doesn't have to be super realistic. As Edgerunners was beautiful still for being less detailed than Berserk/Akira (I had to look up berserker and akira).

my series style is old school themed with something supposed to be like an actual video game animation but yeah I can see some of my characters look more anime than very realistic. I was gonna go for the 90s style like Fist of the North Star
