Just a note, for anybody who may be browsing my sex toys, zines, plushes etc. on Etsy. If the site is easier for you, go for it! I'm paying for the convenience as a seller, I don't mind you wanting it as a buyer!
Buuuuuuuuuuuuut if you don't like Etsy, you can ABSOLUTELY drop me a line here (or even better, e-mail me, spark.costumes[at]gmail.com I check that way more often) to arrange to pay for something via paypal and skip most of the fees.
Just so you know.
That said, today's goal is to get the gold shinies photographed and listed, along with a few other odds and ends. I might also do a "flop" sale soon, as I've got a stack of "well, that didn't work" toys that are still perfectly functional, just ugly. :D

I'm not 100% sold on Etsy's trustworthiness however it's in both the buyer's and seller's best interest to work through an intermediary that has some kind of insurance. It doesn't have to be Etsy but if you're doing business like how you're suggesting you're only increasing your chances someone somehow will get screwed. Having some kind of protection offered by a reputable company is in both your and your customers best interests.

Pffft. Old school truckstop porno stores kinda have that vibe. But you don't see many of those anymore. The super janky one I used to drive by all the time has rebranded as a sex-positive-love-store thing (Somebody in marketing finally noticed that afab folks buy dildos, funny thing...) and now has big glass windows full of manikins in lingerie, rather than boarded up windows plastered with ugly ads for Girls Gone Wild videos.

There used to be a porno place not far from where I grew up that sold Heavy Metal magazine in bags, four to a bag for ten bucks. I ended up picking up almost the entire 70s to the late 90s run.
