Well guys it's official after 3 plus years of managing to avoid it, being extra cautious, calculated careful, and understandably sanitary, ... I got covid... and not for my efforts staying safe but from the school system telling all the students they didn't have to wear masks anymore... and the best part is it's a double whammy, both my girls came home with flu and covid... and within two days of them getting hit hard by it I got it to. that's life it loves to kick you when you're down... I'm sick as hell the kids are high-spirited but feeling a little under the weather as well. it doesn't help matters that I'm also high risk and the fact that my favorite time of the year is pretty much screwed... sigh... the only thing I can do is rest... recover and feel better. got to try moving forward, wish me and my little family luck...
