~Tips are very much appreciated~
http://ko-fi.com/angrykoala I’m getting back into RPing and I’m going through someone’s yes/no list and one of them is, yes to anthros but no to furries.
Is there a difference? Someone elaborate cause to me an anthro is just a furry with a fancier name 👀

Like I think I heard the original Meaning of Anthro was like InuGirls or Neckos...basically humans with animal features. Most people dont think about that anymore and completely separate Half Human from anthro, and merged it with Furry, which we associate with The Animal characters with human bodies.
Though, if I HAD to separate them, I'd go like this.
Anthros are animals with human characteristics. Be that body shape, features or sentience.
A Furry refers to the OC and the person behind it.
So, Furrys and Anthros can be the same thing, but also not all Furrys are Anthros and not all Anthros are technically Furries.
Also, a lot of this boils down differently from person to person.
That's my two cents on it anyway. ^,..,^
Furry is FOX
FOUR FOOTERS!!!
Anthropomorphic means that something has human characteristics. When applied to animals you get anything from the bunnies in Watership Down to the animal students in Beastars.
As far as popular usage goes, though, furries tend to specifically use "anthro" to mean "humanoid animal" - two legs, two arms, upright spine, but covered in fur & with an animal head, a tail and ears. (Distinguished from "feral" which is used for stuff like animals that can talk such as Watership Down, Wolfwalkers, Farthing Wood etc)
As for your actual question... My guess would be that they changed one kink and forgot the other? Probably easier to ask them than guess.
