You know I don't know if this is the cause but there was an incident recently where an edgy troll account started posting...well...they posted child pornography. Like, not as in fetish art of underage furry characters but real illegal photos of real human children. I'm still pretty traumatized from it.

I'm not sure if you've ever witnessed these troll accounts but they usually just post gory shock pictures to troll people and they always end up getting reported and banned. Me personally, I ended up getting pretty desensitized to the gory stuff and just brushed it off as some edgy 13 year old trying to get a reaction.

The child porn though? That definitely is more than just edgy trolling, that's genuinely illegal stuff. Of course that account got reported and banned but still...

Again, I don't know if this is the exact reason behind people choosing to leave but it's the first incident I could think of.

A while back? Probably would have been the whole debacle with a member of staff being accused (with evidence) of assaulting a user and rather than firinf him the incident was covered up and the victim basically told to shut up, with Dragoneer reportedly trying to shield the accused, made a large number of people quit the site in disgust, and that's just an incident I remember seeing happen live.

Was also an issue with anothet member of admin being alleged to be a diddler or something and again was kept on as staff, too.
