Anybody willing to use it in its current form isn't gonna magically be principled enough to ditch it under Musk, where it'll be largely the same but with more slurs and misgendering, both of which are already there. Does it suck that it highlights how all major American media is in the hands of fascists? Yes but that was already true, and inevitable. You're alive during the fall of society. Sorry to had to hear it from me but, deal with it.

What I do find a bit alarming is how many people are eulogizing the website. Even if you think it's as good as dead, Twitter is awful. It's all of the worst aspects of the human condition distilled down to far too few characters to delude our peers into thinking there's anything of true substance within us. While I'd blame the internet on the whole, you can make a very real argument for Twitter being one of the worst things to ever happen to humanity, no hyperbole. At its worst, it was a bastion of harassment and lies, and and its best, it was a handful of amusing tweets mocking those harassers and liars. Before they ultimately won, of course.

But like I said, if you're expecting some mass exodus to immediately sink the company and instantly destroy Musk's investment well, A) you're an idiot for thinking Karma is real and B) you're giving way, way, way, way too much credit to your leftist peers. People can't even commit to ditching Furaffinity "for realsies this time" what the fuck chance do you think there is of them doing it to Twitter? They'll bitch, lament how some Swastika-icon'd jerk is telling them to kill themselves and ultimately they'll log in again an hour later.
