This afternoon, while I was at work, my family took our last and beloved dog, Xena, to the vet to have her put to sleep. I know she'll be waiting for me and my kin in Valhalla. It's just hard to say good bye to pets, and harder when you can't be there at the end. I'm not asking for any prayers or anything like that, just as much love as you can spare for a senile dork of a dog and her best friend.
