Today, I found out from my father that Noel, one of our dogs, has passed away. She was around 16 years old when she died and was also the half-sister of Cinnamon, another one of our dogs. The only photo that I have of her on Fur Affinity is this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47756959/
I would also like to mention that she had a stroke back in July and she was unable to stand up without assistance and would only drink water from a syringe. She only recovered after my stepmother came up with the idea of feeding her baby food with a spoon. A few days ago, Noel started to feel bad again and my stepmother told me that this morning, she tried and failed to wake up Noel and discovered that she wasn’t breathing, which were implications of her death. Unsurprisingly, Cinnamon is very upset over the death of her half-sister and Cinnamon is slightly younger than Noel. It’s only a matter of time when Cinnamon dies because when that happens, the only dog that we will have left is Cookie, who will be very upset and depressed when he finds out that he is the only dog left in our family.
