I have a kiddo now! Bye-bye free time!

But seriously, it's awesome. Kiddo came about three weeks earlier than he was supposed to, and I've spent the last couple weeks helping get him and Eliza settled before I gotta go back to work tomorrow. So that's mostly why I haven't gotten to update lately, and for those who I'm working on commissions for, I promise I'm still working on them when I can. D: I'm hoping things will get even calmer once I'm back to work regularly, so I can bank out proper time to write and nap. Fingers crossed! Either way, we love the little guy to pieces, even if he's chopped our sleep to bits. XD

And speaking of commissions, I've actually got a few on my queue, unexpectedly! I'm actually finding a lot of joy in taking commissions, but for the time being I probably won't take on any new ones until I finish up the big ones I've got right now. Once I do though, I'll probably make another, more formal journal/announcement with my pricing info and whatnot. Even before *that*, I plan on posting a bunch of the commissions I've written already. I was cranking out a buttload of work back in September/October, and I'm very pleased with how it's all turned out. It's part of a much bigger project that I can only really tease at right now, 'cause I don't wanna put the cart before the horse or anything. Actually *posting* the stuff has just been rough to get around to, and it doesn't help that I haven't been able to get any office time to do it either. I'll get there though. I ain't bowing out! Writing's in me blood!
