Answer this for me honestly, if you can.

So when a new animal/anthro character drops in media, the porn of said character is immediate, often pre-dating the actual release of said property. Honestly, this is kind of 'late' for me to be seeing this, given it's been tens of hours since the drop.

So...is it that you (furries) genuinely can't view animal characters in media in any other context other than sexually? Is it that you're...medically incapable of, to use a buddy's term, 'appreciating' them in any other way at all? Do you even make it through the entire movie/show/game before this occurs, or once you see the character, do your senses just go dull, vision blurs, hearing becomes muffled, and you can only think about which sexual situations you will immediately seek to see the character partake in?

Or...

Is it more of a cynical, business decision to ensure that yours is one of the first pieces of this topical pornography, like in fact it doesn't occur to you to view them sexual because this has nothing to do with enjoyment of any kind and you were literally just waiting for the first images to drop so you could immediately put them out there?


I suspect the answer of this question breaks down quite reliably between artists and consumers.
