Issues arise
That's just how life is
But at what point are they not serious?
When are we to give them a title
Trivial?

As humans, we can perceive
But perception begets misconception
When the truth is there
We can ignore it, or give it another name
An opinion

Can we really say that it isn't important
That these things come and go
That it's just a facade, a ruse
Where we can shut our eyes, blind to the problem at hand
These issues, indeed

When it's said and done
When we allow them to happen
When we're faced with the certainty of it
The reality of it in front of our eyes
Can we permit regret?
