Looking for a good scanner

So I've been doing some research online for a good quality scanner in the 100-200$ range and am having some trouble. Has anyone here got a scanner that they got for that price which works awesome and they would recommend, or do you know a good website that does accurate reviews for those types of scanners?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

edit: I am leaning towards the Canon CanoScan 8800F Flatbed Scanner, it has awesome reviews, anyone personally worked with this? I also have windows vista 64 bit, and it seems this scanner is compatible with it.

I have my old scanner still, It is a flatbed but will not work in anything beyond windows 2000. XP it would never start up, the company simply wanted me to upgrade to a new machine if I upgraded to 'new' OS. But it still works okay at 1600 x 1600 dpi, I kind of think it actually worked better than the new multi I bought last year the Canon MX700. If you go to like Fry's Electronics online and order one you could maybe get the next version of the one I have, I think it was either 167.00 or 187.00 i forget.

I recently got an Epson Perfection V500 Photo. It seems to be working out really well. I don't remember what we paid exactly but I think it was in the $200-250 range.

Epson has been notoriously not user Friendly with respect to it's products Ink Cartridges for them are hard to deal with. Try a Canon....Good Products. DTI Computers Victoria will usually give you a good deal & provide excellent aftersales service. DTI has Locations Quadra at Yates near 7-11 and also in Oak Bay across from the Shell Station on Oak Bay Avenue. I hope this helps

I don't know which models we use at work off the top of my head but, they're all Epsons. I like them, they capture colors and gradients well. The software that comes with them gives a lot of control. That being said, Canon is also another good name in fine art. Best advice I can give is to do what you did, that is your homework, and make sure the seller has a liberal return policy. Any good retailer will work with you and be happy to take back a product you're dissatisfied with. Do you have any galleries, fine art production stores, or artist you can brain pick? Not that there aren't amazing artists here that know what they're talking about but, it might help to remove the anonymity of the internet.
