Well, the worst has happen, as of earlier today, I had to put my beloved rottweiler, Zoey, down. Due to the severe pain she was in, so much so she couldn't even sit up, and bleeding problems. I felt it was right to do so. It still hurts though...
You did the right thing and you'll be able feel better in the future.
