As the title says, someone on Discord has been impersonating me and selling "commissions" to unwary users.

Because of this, I have added my actual Discord # to my Trello board/Commission Info Page to hopefully avoid something like this happening again.
I will never DM a user on Discord asking if they are interested in a commission. My commission openings are always announced on Twitter (sometimes here or on Instagram) so if you receive a Discord DM from someone you think is me, PLEASE be cautious and always check if the username matches the one linked below:

But fuck whoever was doing that, seriously. My friend and I lost a lotta money to that asshat.
I received messages from multiple people on Twitter, with some saying they gave the scammer $70+ and it's seriously a punch to the gut.
Thankfully the scammer was dumb enough to share examples of artwork that wasn't mine, so I'm thinking that's what gave them away to some people.
Again I'm really sorry to hear this happened to you and others :( It seriously blows.
Seriously, fuck these people that do this. But thank you for letting me know what was going on, and for creating this journal to raise awareness about it, and for all the precautions you're now taking to ensure people know what your discord account actually is. Hopefully this beats those bastards, and no more people lose out on money like that.
