Well, that was kind of a flop

Might have been because both websites seemed to conspire to utterly neuter the debut. Could also be that it was just kind of too long, figured people would appreciate a more drawn out chase to get them riled up but if "Try Again" has taught me anything...no, just give them the sex immediately, no setup, no thinking, no working for it.
Anyway, as promised I'll eventually post the sex loops and what not but I'll probably be more patient about waiting to see if this website and its hilariously bad handlers fix their shit before posting them since there's no particular enthusiasm about the animation anyway.

FA+

But I am also absolutely blaming e621 and FA.
Which I guess is another way of me blaming the length. Too much setup probably, the average furry likely didn't make it past the dialogue. But, I guess myself and the very small circle of buds I primarily make these things for were happy with it. And a more cynical would probably suggest "hey, at least you got real paid for it." Me, I'd give much of it back just to get more than 3-word feedback responses. Kinda why I asked for it in the first place; I knew I wouldn't, so I wanted to get something for all that effort.
As I said up there, while the logistical problems with both sites didn't help, I think there might have been too much setup. Wouldn't surprise me at all if a bunch of people just plain clicked away before the opening dialogue passed. Originally I intended to make a second version which skips that, but I figured with the WebM version, they could also just skipped past it themselves.
But indeed if you were curious for that kind of insight then you were pretty SOL when we became dependent on e621 commentary which, characteristically, was almost entirely irrelevant. The one true piece of feedback came from one of the people who contributed it to it, and he posted it on the previous version of the link-page here on FA. He said something about how he liked the expressions the best and some other stuff. I can't entirely remember unfortunately and we'll never know now because I ended up deleting that version after e621 went down yesterday, and broke the link. I figured I had a better shot at reposting it than trying to convince people who got to it when the link was broke to try again later. So lol the one piece of actual, sorta insightful feedback was deleted by me in an errant belief that reposting it after the outage would bode better for it.
I really, truly cannot express how from that perspective, this was pretty much just a total loss and couldn't have gone worse, it was a hilariously specific sequence of events that doomed this, my most ambitious upload ever, to relative obscurity, between the failures of both websites. One comment I got earlier sums it up perfectly.
I saw it before the server maintenance, but I'm not a registered user there. I absolutely would have commented and upvoted it.
The absolute PERFECT encapsulation of why I didn't want to post an external link. Guy clicks link, guy sees it, guy is of course not registered on other site, does not leave feedback, but also does not bother to leave feedback on current site's placeholder 'cause, animation is not on current site. 100% exactly what I predicted would happen. And this was one of the actual contributors, so what chance did it have with people who just plain didn't care that much?
Like I said, probably my fault. I know better, several times over, than to put that kind of effort into anything, by now.
