Please give us an update on your new generator (when you have news and time to share and a working internet connection). A lot of digital artists in Ukraine are trying to get battery power banks (like an EcoFlow) to help them keep working during the frequent but intermittent blackouts -- however you are one of the few artists that was able to get an actual generator that needs fuel (I assume it needs lots of fuel to keep it running so you will only be able to use it occasionally during the blackouts). People in other countries probably don't know how much it costs per hour to fuel the generator (and people in the USA would probably be shocked by the cost of fuel in Ukraine).

I have been waiting for the generator for over a month. He was brought from another country (I think from France). This was done by a friend of our family. We could not buy a generator for a long time because they were not available or they were too expensive. My alternator cost me $1,300 (generator + wires + installation + shipping and some parts). My generator is Defitec 3600LB. This is enough to connect heating + water, as well as a computer and some equipment. Hour of work - 2 dollars. It doesn't seem like much, but if there's no electricity for a few days, it can get expensive. I also live outside the city and it is difficult for me to bring fuel. I do not have a car.

I could mention that you don't need $1000 like some of the others, but that you do need commissions or small donations to be able to afford fuel for your generator.

Yes, thank you. extra money for fuel might come in handy. Now the situation is much better, but no one gives guarantees that the missiles will not do more damage. Then we can be left without electricity for many days.
