I'm still afraid of Razer products, I remember the one expensive headset that decided to snap on me out of the blue, no pressure or anything~

Steel Series is my go-to brand. I'm pretty sure they've got something to suit your needs.

I was told Steel Series are very good, especially the Arctis ones, I still wonder though if they have one that can go wired and wireless, and the latency too~

Seems like your best bet would be one of the Arctis Wireless headsets. While the wireless part is its main selling point, it does have wired support as well. In addition, it uses a wireless dongle to run via a low-latency 2.4GHz connection.

This is the headset I wear, it was recommended to me by my brother who also wears one, though his is the fully-wired version, one of his roommates has the same one I wear. It has roughly a 40ft range from the transmitter that plugs into the computer's USB. I've been wearing mine for almost 3 years now and it's still just as good as the day I ordered it. It also has customizeable lighting as well so it'll show the side panels in the colours you want. ^_^

I leave mine plugged in overnight, but as far as operating time goes, I put them on in the morning and plug them in when not at my computer. Doing this has gotten me easily 18-20 hours of use before they must recharge.

Yes, you can use it wired as well.. I don't know if that affects the sound speed since i'm not really computer-savvy, I think it's for charging only? The sound comes out true though. owo

I don't normally keep mine plugged in though since the way my desk is built, the wires would be laying across my keyboard. But yes, you can leave it plugged in while you wear them. ^_^

Yeah, after my last purchase I worry about the latency, the speed of sound reaching you compared to what you see, I got killed by many stuffs before I even heard it coming lol,
The explosion one made me decide, when your eyes sees explosion and your brain for a split second goes "What the heck am I watching?" before the huge KABOOM that made me jump out of my chair, realized next it was an explosion, and not my monitor or game freaking out graphically lol,

Oh!.. uh.. heh, well i'm not a big-time gamer, but I haven't really had any issues with there being a delay between visual and sounds, but I get how and why that'd be an issue. X3;

Hehe, er.. well, this was my suggestion, this headset has been the longest-lasting one i've ever had, the overhead parts and hinges are metal, I think maybe aluminium? They are adjustable as well so they sit comfortably. ^_^

But yes, hopefully you are able to find a set that works best for you, I like mine since it also helps to muffle out the noise around me. XD

My roomie swears by his steel series arctis headset. Personally I use a hyperX cloud mix headset that can do the same thing, and I'm quite happy with it. ^^ Gotta admit the sound quality is better plugged in though.

I have a Corsair headset that can go wireless and wired! It has a switch you can flip to set which one you want to use!

I've personally gone with a bluetooth-enabled pair of headphones, and added a modmic to them. That way I could have the headphones I wanted, with a decent mic.

I use corsair HS80. Seems to be pretty decent, although battery life is not great. I get around that by just having a power bank plugged into it in my pocket so I can still walk around with it
