My Patreon rip, go to the Boosty
Sadly I can't use Patreon anymore, but if you want to keep supporting me, I have Boosty https://boosty.to/heatherwolf
I will continue to post on Patreon until the end of the year, and my active patrons will not be billed on January onwards. I will post my new works on Boosty, it is active now. I'm sad to leave this site, but for now I have no other options. I will use boosty for commissions too.
Thanks for your support guys <3

It's so stupid what Patreon is doing. I get that they want to make a statement about the whole Ukraine situation, but they're going about it the wrong way. Instead of doing anything to help humanitarian efforts over there, they're just taking away the income of innocent Russian artists so that they can virtue signal about how much they support the current thing. Even as an American, I think it's absolutely shameful how they're treating artists like you. I hope Boosty treats you better.

OP
This is not a problem with Patreon, but with withdrawal methods. Paypal left Russia at the beginning of the war and Payoneer left this month, but it seems like they're stopped working here because Russia itself gave them problems

Even if that's the case, I still wouldn't trust Patreon. The stuff that's going on right now is just the tip of the iceberg. Patreon has been notorious for mistreating its userbase for years. They've censored content creators over petty hearsay, even spying on certain users across multiple social media websites in order to find excuses to justify banning them (primarily for political reasons, no less). If that's not bad enough, as soon as alternatives like Boosty and SubscribeStar started to become more popular, Patreon immediately resorted to bullying companies like PayPal and Stripe into dropping their support for those other sites in an attempt to stomp out the competition, which is just a gross abuse of power and a blatant slap in the face to content creators everywhere who should be allowed to choose whichever website they want in a free market. For that reason alone, I'll never use or support Patreon.
